Adam Wallacavage Octopus Chandeliers

Adam Wallacavage. What a guy!  He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and earned himself a BFA in photography in 1995.  Several years later, he taught himself the art of ornamental plastering, and began making (of all things) octopus chandeliers.  And I’m so glad he did!  His pieces have been featured around the world, and while some of them have a teensy air of the slightly disturbing, I adore the creativity and fun involved in his work.  Two tentacles way, way up.
