Calamityware

China patterns!  A grand tradition, wedding china, handed down between generations.  Graphic designer Don Moyer created Calamityware as a Kickstarter campaign last year, after inheriting a traditional blue willow-patterned china plate from his great-grandparents.  He realized that he had been neglecting drawing, and pledged to do more doodles and sketches (check out his Flickr!). When he inherited his plate, he decided to re-draw the pattern, while adding the excitement of a pterodactyl to the tableau.  People urged him to put his designs on porcelain and voila! They come in four different patterns, and are subtle and fantastic and I want them all.  Not to eat off them, but to mount on my wall. Love love love them!
